•             Avoid exercising outside when the inversion is present. As an alternative, workout from home, in a gym, or go walking in a mall.

•             Avoiding or limit exposure to all asthma triggers during the inversions.

•             Wash hands regularly and avoid people with upper respiratory infections.

•             Check air quality levels daily and avoid being outside on high level days.

•             Wear a mask or scarf around your mouth when outside.

•             If your child has asthma, you may want to limit your child’s outdoor playtime. You can talk to their school about recess alternatives on high alert days.
